Alice Colfox is an award winning British Art Director, and founder of a conceptual approach to Art Direction called Green Art Department.

Born out of a love for magical realism and the natural world, Green Art Department fusions landscape gardening techniques, floristry, and production design. Known for its distinctive aesthetic and conscious approach that is part of a package when employed by any client.

The philosophy is rooted in building sets in a circular process, reusing upcycling and putting the focus back into materials, adapting set design in the film industry to a mindset that offers back to the natural world.

Each project brings the opportunity to work with and honour traders at the heart of the industry such as florists, designers, carpenters, seamstresses, blacksmiths. Green Art Department is not just about the final result, but the process and journey of getting there.

Alice also co-directed an ocean inspired short film, Bajo: Guardians of the reef, a film that was premiered on Waterbear network and Girls in Film, collecting multiple awards from around the world.
