Sugi

Central London's first Heritage Forest, located on Post Street, South West London. The project aims to restore biodiversity, reintroduce native species and reconnect people with nature. A partnership between Cadogan, Louis Vuitton and SUGI. The forest design mimicked the edge of an ancient forest. Multi layered shrubs with a Miyawaki forest in the centre and a wildflower border. The backdrops used here made from cotton fabric transformed the streets into a theatre, white plinths gave different levels for the subjects to stand on and foraged and borrowed plants added depth. The art direction here aids stylistic approach to creating documentary photographs.
